Not too long ago Misscammodel.com was launched. It's purpose was to be a social network for camgirls from any cam site. The concept itself was great; however, the reality is not living up to expectations.
When it was first started in January this year, the site was nothing more than a forum. By February, it was a fully fleshed out website with blog, chat lounge and messaging capabilities. The number of members grew fast which caused many slow downs and at times it seemed like the website crashed. Since those difficult times in February, the website improved, but not for long.
Now there is a new dilemma, the website isn't being updated or the person in charge isn't maintaining the existing site. There also seem to be some internal problems with paying out models. I think the owners of the site were trying to grow the site too fast and they tried to turn it into a Camsite instead of the social network it was intended to be. If they wanted to build a Camsite, then maybe a sister site would be much better. The social network concept could have been thought out more and improved.
For now, the website has come to a standstill. The updates seem none-existent and the chat lounge, which seemed to be the one part of the website that was keeping it afloat, is practically dead. The most important features which bring members to the site are not being taken care of and it is a shame that such a good idea should come to a stall. Maybe the site will get better in the future, but for now, it is not worth visiting.
